1. Make SKUs from a pattern (optional)
Write the SKU once with groups in braces: {S|M|L} choices, {1-5} or {01-12} number range, {A-E} letter range, {#4} counter (4 digits; {#4@100+5} starts at 100, steps by 5). Groups multiply; the last one changes fastest. Use \{ for a literal brace.
2. Your labels
One label per line. Columns: sku, title, barcode, type, copies (header row optional). Leave barcode empty to print the SKU as a Code 128. For UPC-A / EAN-13 / EAN-8 put the digits in barcode: 11 digits (UPC-A) or 12 digits with ean13 as the type get their check digit added; full-length numbers are checked and rejected if the last digit is wrong. The type is guessed from the digit count (8 EAN-8, 11/12 UPC-A, 13 EAN-13). Rows with problems are listed below and are not printed.
Free prints up to 30 labels per run and loads CSV only by paste. Pro removes the limit and adds file import.
3. Label sheet
Layouts are generic grids (columns × rows, label size in inches or mm). They are approximations: sizes and margins differ between brands and batches, and Barloom does not claim an exact fit for any brand or product. Print the alignment page first, on plain paper, and hold it against your label sheet to the light; fix any drift with the shift boxes, then print your labels. Print at 100% / actual size, with margins set to none and “fit to page” turned off. Barloom is not affiliated with any label-sheet maker.

Check a number
Check-digit calculator for GTIN numbers (UPC-A, EAN-13, EAN-8). It tells you whether the digits are internally consistent, not whether a number is assigned to you.

Privacy
Barloom has no server, no account, no analytics, no cookies and no third-party scripts. Your SKUs, barcode numbers and CSV files are processed in this page and never leave your device. Your list and settings and, if you buy Pro, your license key are stored only in your browser's local storage; clearing site data removes them. The page's content-security policy (connect-src 'none') blocks network requests made by the page's own scripts. The only time anything leaves your device is when you choose to buy Pro: the buy button opens Stripe's checkout page, and Quietcog's license service then confirms the payment with Stripe and shows you a key; it does not use, log or store your email or other customer details. The key is checked on your device against a public key; nothing is sent. No SKU, barcode or CSV data is ever part of that. Barloom privacy policy. Refunds: 14 days, see the refund policy.
Good to know
- Always scan a printed test label with your own scanner or app before you print a whole run. Scan reliability depends on your printer, label stock and size.
- Barloom warns when a barcode would print below a commonly recommended minimum bar width (about 0.26 mm for UPC/EAN and 0.19 mm for Code 128; these are rules of thumb, not a standard you have to meet for every scanner). Marketplaces and retailers may have their own barcode requirements; check theirs.
- Print the alignment page first. Sheet geometry is approximate, so the alignment page and the shift boxes exist to let you match your own sheet.
