About this spreadsheet kit
A calm, practical record-keeper for up to twelve pets. Add each pet once, then log care reminders (vaccines, flea and tick, checkups, grooming, medication refills) with the date last done and how often it repeats. The tracker works out the next due date and flags each item as Due soon or Overdue, so nothing slips. Vet visits, weight and expenses each have their own log, and the spending summary breaks the year down by month, category and pet. The download includes a blank workbook, a filled-in example, a quick-start guide and a one-page printable for vet visits. Works in any spreadsheet app that opens .xlsx files.

What is inside
- Dashboard. Overdue and upcoming care, this year's spending, vet visits and your pets at a glance. Nothing to type here.
- Pets. One row per pet with species, breed, birthday, vet, allergies and notes, plus age, latest weight, spending this year and overdue items.
- Care Reminders. Recurring care per pet: enter the date last done and how often it repeats, and the next due date and Overdue / Due soon status are calculated.
- Vet Visits. A history of vet visits with reason, clinic, notes, cost and a follow-up date.
- Weight Log. Dates and weights per pet. The Pets tab shows each pet's latest weight.
- Expenses. A running log of what you spend on your pets.

Questions
How many pets can it handle?
Twelve pets on the Pets tab, with room for about 150 care reminders, 300 vet visits and weigh-ins, and 600 expenses. If you need more, copy the last row down; the formulas are standard and unlocked.
How does the reminder status work?
For each reminder you enter the date it was last done and how many months until it repeats (for example 12 for a yearly booster, 1 for monthly flea treatment). The next due date is calculated. Items past their due date show Overdue, and items due within the number of days you set on Start Here show Due soon.
Does it send notifications?
No. It is a spreadsheet, so it shows what is due when you open it. Many people also copy the next due dates into their phone's calendar.
Is this veterinary advice?
No. It is a record-keeping tool. Vaccine and treatment schedules differ by species, age, location and health, so follow your own veterinarian's advice for what your pet needs and when.
What app do I need?
Any spreadsheet app that opens .xlsx files, on a computer or in the browser. Free web-based spreadsheet apps work too: upload the file and open it. Formulas, dropdowns and charts carry over.
Is there an example version?
Yes. The download includes a blank workbook and a filled-in example, so you can see how everything works before entering your own details.
Can I change it?
Everything is unlocked and editable: categories, tasks, columns and formulas.
Is this a subscription?
No. One payment of $8 and the files are yours to keep.
