Is this tax or accounting advice?
No. It organizes numbers you enter. Category names are just labels you choose, not tax categories. A qualified professional can tell you how to classify things where you live.
Why is there no mileage rate?
Rates and rules differ by country and change over time, so the log records trips and distance only. Add a rate yourself if you need one.
Can I use it for more than one business?
Make a copy of the file for each business. That keeps the records cleanly separate.
What app do I need?
Any spreadsheet app that opens .xlsx files, on a computer or in the browser. Free web-based spreadsheet apps work too: upload the file and open it. Formulas, dropdowns and charts carry over.
Is there an example version?
Yes. The download includes a blank workbook and a filled-in example, so you can see how everything works before entering your own details.
Can I change it?
Everything is unlocked and editable: categories, tasks, columns and formulas.
Is this a subscription?
