Localewright: machine translation for app localization files. Drop in a JSON, YAML, gettext .po, Apple .strings, XLIFF or Android strings.xml file. Your browser reads it and sends only the text to translate; keys, placeholders ({name}, %d, <b>) and plural forms are kept. You get the same file back in your languages, plus a review report that flags strings that look untranslated.
Free: one file, one language, up to 2,000 characters (about 3 files per day per network address). Paid: $2 per file (one language, up to 20,000 characters) or $9 for one file into up to 10 languages. Files are not stored.
Machine-translation draft: review before shipping. Output is produced automatically and will contain errors; it is a first pass for a fluent speaker to review, not a finished translation. We do not guarantee accuracy.
Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Lao, Khmer and Burmese are best-effort: the free engine translates these one string at a time and more often leaves text in English or drops punctuation, so they are labelled “best-effort draft, review before shipping” and are available only with a paid purchase. Languages the engine does not support are refused before you pay.
Prices are in US dollars, one-time, plus applicable sales tax where it applies, shown at checkout before you pay.
