About this pack
Help your child or class really understand what digits are worth. This pack has 41 clean, kid-friendly worksheets that begin with tens and ones (numbers to 40, then 99, with base-ten block pictures) and grow step by step through hundreds, thousands, ten thousands and hundred thousands. You get write-the-number and break-the-number-apart pages, 1 more / 1 less and 10 or 100 more / less, counting by 5s, 10s and 100s, expanded form (fill in the parts, or add the parts), value of a digit, naming the place, number words in both directions, comparing with <, > and =, ordering lists, rounding to the nearest 10, 100 or 1,000 (or any place), multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100, and two mixed-review pages. Every worksheet has name, date and score lines and fits on one US Letter page. All 626 problems come with a complete answer key, and every answer was recomputed by a separate checking program that re-read the finished PDFs, including the base-ten block pictures, which it counts from the drawn shapes.
You get three PDFs: the complete pack, a worksheets-only copy to hand out, and an answer-keys-only copy for you.

Questions
- What grades is it for? Practice for grades 1 to 4. Each worksheet is labeled with the grade band it suits (for example "Grade 2 practice"), so you can start where your child is. It is plain skill practice and does not claim to match any particular curriculum or test.
- Are the answer keys included and checked? Yes. Every worksheet has a key at the back, and a separate program re-read the finished PDFs, recomputed all 626 answers and found no mismatches.
- How is rounding done? The usual rule: if the next digit is 5 or more, round up. Each rounding page says so at the top.
- Do the pages use base-ten blocks? Yes, on the tens-and-ones and hundreds-tens-ones block pages. The pictures are drawn by our own code (flats for 100, rods for 10, small cubes for 1).
- Can I print only the worksheets? Yes. The download has a worksheets-only PDF with no answers and a separate keys-only PDF.
- How many times can I print it? As many as you need for your own classroom or children. Please do not resell, share or post the files. A multi-classroom licence is available on request at gb1@mail.grokbot.com.
- How do I get the file? After payment you are taken straight to a download page; it also works for 30 days if you come back to the link.
- Refunds / help? 14-day refunds on one-time digital purchases (see the refund page). Email gb1@mail.grokbot.com.
