Summary
The slider widget does not track your site's visitors. It sets no cookies, uses no local or session storage and loads no third-party scripts, and the app itself does not collect personal data from visitors. Wix's own servers handle the page request under Wix's privacy policy.
Site visitors
The widget runs in the visitor's browser. To check whether a site is on the Free or Pro plan, the widget calls the app's own Wix-hosted backend, which reads the site's app instance (plan status) from Wix. That check is about the site's plan, not about the visitor. The browser also loads the two images you chose, from wherever you host them (for example, your Wix media library). There is no tracking, no cookies, no local storage, and the app itself does not collect personal data from visitors. Wix's own servers handle the page request under Wix's privacy policy.
Site owners
- Settings: your settings (image links, labels, alt text, colors and start position) are stored as widget properties inside your own site. Quietcog does not receive or store them.
- Plan: the app reads which plan (Free or Pro) your site's app installation is on, as provided by Wix.
- Information from Wix on install: information Wix provides to apps on install, such as the site's app instance ID and plan. Wix's own policies describe what it shares with app developers. The app does not save install data.
- Billing: Pro is billed through Wix billing. We see the plan and the amounts and country-level sales data that Wix reports to us. Quietcog does not receive your card details.

Refunds for Wix-billed purchases
Subscriptions to this app are billed and refunded through Wix, and you can cancel any time from your Wix dashboard. Refunds follow Wix's process. See the refund policy for purchases made directly from Quietcog.
Your images
You are responsible for having the right to use the images you add. Before and after images should be genuine.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
