Labelloom: Privacy Policy

Last updated October 27, 2026

Labelloom is a browser-based tool that rearranges shipping-label PDF pages you already have onto Letter or A4 sheets or 4 x 6 in pages. Publisher: Quietcog (a sole-proprietor business name). Contact: gb1@mail.grokbot.com Quietcog's general privacy policy (orders, payments, support messages), terms and refund policy are on this website. This page describes what Labelloom itself does. It is written in plain language and is not legal advice.

What stays on your device

Labelloom runs entirely in your browser. The label PDFs you load, and the names, addresses and barcodes on them, are read and rearranged in the page and never leave your device: they are not sent to us or to anyone else, and the PDFs are kept in the page's memory only, not saved in your browser's storage. Closing or reloading the page forgets them. Labelloom does not extract, analyse or store the text on your labels (the optional crop feature only measures, on your device, where the printed area of each page is); it places the original PDF page content into the new sheet and shows a picture preview. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts, and the Labelloom page and our license service set no cookies (Stripe's hosted checkout page is run by Stripe and may use its own). Your layout choices (output layout, rotation, position, shifts, margin, crop and cut-mark settings) are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device under the name labelloom.v1. They contain no file names and no label content. If you buy Pro, your license key is saved there too, under labelloom.license. Clearing the site's data removes them. The page's content-security policy (connect-src 'none') tells the browser to block network requests made by the page's own scripts, and our automated tests check both that policy and that the page makes no external requests.

The PDF you download is created on your device. It is named labelloom-sheet.pdf; its document properties hold only “Labelloom” as producer and creator, the title “Labelloom sheet” and the creation date, and nothing from your source file's properties is copied. The downloaded sheet contains your labels, including your customers' details, so keep and dispose of printouts and files as you would any other shipping paperwork. Labelloom does not buy postage or labels, does not connect to any carrier and does not read, create or edit customs forms or customs information.

What is sent over the network

Nothing, unless you choose to buy Labelloom Pro. The free version makes no network requests of its own. If you click the Buy button, your browser opens our license service (a small Cloudflare Worker) and then Stripe's hosted checkout page. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's privacy policy; Stripe collects your email, billing and payment details to complete the purchase, and we can see purchase records, including your email, in our Stripe account. After you pay, the license service asks Stripe whether that checkout session was paid and, if so, shows you a license key. The response the license service receives from Stripe is the full checkout session record, which includes your email and name. The license service does not use, log or store your email, name or other customer details, and never receives your card number. It uses only the payment status and the price. The key contains a product code, a license type, a one-way hash of your Stripe checkout session identifier and an issue date, and no personal content; it is checked on your device against a public key, with no request sent. Like any web request, the buy and order pages are requested from your IP address. No label data is ever part of any request.

Print quality and carriers

Labelloom places each label at 100% scale, but it cannot control your printer or PDF viewer. You are responsible for printing at 100% / Actual size and for following your carrier's current label requirements. Labelloom does not guarantee that a printed label will scan or be accepted. Print a test label at Actual size and scan it before you rely on it. Labelloom has no carrier approval. USPS, UPS and FedEx are named only to cite their public printing guidance; Labelloom is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Purchases and refunds

Labelloom Pro is a one-time license (lifetime, no renewal). Under the refund policy, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase and we will refund the full price; contact us with the email used for your order. A license key cannot be remotely revoked, so if refunded, please stop using the key. Where Stripe is the merchant of record, the refund is issued through Stripe.

Questions and requests

Contact gb1@mail.grokbot.com Order records are held in our Stripe account; you can ask us to access or delete them. Because the app itself collects nothing, there is nothing else for us to delete.
