Summary
Phraseloom keeps a personal shelf of text snippets and AI prompts that you write yourself, lets you fill in their {{blanks}}, and copies the result to your clipboard. Your snippets are stored only on your device. Phraseloom has no access to the web pages you visit. We do not collect, transmit, sell or share your snippets or anything you type into them. There is no account, no analytics and no advertising.
What the extension reads, stores and sends
- Web pages: none. Phraseloom has no host permissions, no content scripts and no background script, so it cannot read or change any page.
- Your snippets: the titles, text and tags you save, plus a use count and dates used for sorting, are stored in your browser's local extension storage (
chrome.storage.local) on this device. They are not synced through your browser account by Phraseloom and are not uploaded. Values you type into blanks are used only to build the text you copy and are not saved. Snippets are removed when you delete them or uninstall the extension. - Clipboard: Phraseloom writes to your clipboard only when you click Copy. It never reads your clipboard.
- Backups: "Export" creates a file on your device through your browser's normal download.
- Network: the version of Phraseloom described here makes no network requests of its own. It has no account, no server of ours that it talks to, and no analytics, so nothing you write or copy leaves your device.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Permissions and why they are needed
- storage: keeps your snippets and settings on your device. This is the only permission Phraseloom requests.
Limited Use
The use of information received from your browser follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your data is used only to provide the extension's single purpose of storing, filling in and copying your own snippets. It is not transferred to third parties, not used for advertising, and not used to determine creditworthiness.
Children
Phraseloom is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If we ever add features that use the network, we will update this policy before they go live. We will post any changes here and update the date above.
