What Pro adds
- Email digest. A plain-text list of your broken links (up to 25 listed, with a link to the full screen), sent with your site's own
wp_mail() to the admin email or one address you choose. Daily, weekly or monthly, optionally only links that are new since the last digest. Off by default. No tracking pixels and no external service.
- Bulk fix and redirect actions. On the results screen, replace a URL or remove a link on many posts at once, replace a redirecting link with the address it redirects to, or add a 301 redirect for a broken address on your own site.
- More content sources. Also check links in custom fields (up to 20 meta keys you list), navigation menu custom links, and text, custom HTML and block widgets. Menu links can be replaced but not removed, and plain-URL custom fields can be replaced but not unlinked.
Everything else stays in the free plugin and keeps working if your Pro licence expires or is removed. Without a valid licence the Pro add-on simply does nothing. Link checks run on your own server; nothing is sent to us.
Buy a licence
1 site
AnnualOne annual licence for one WordPress site.
Up to 5 sites
AnnualOne annual licence you may use on up to five WordPress sites that you own or manage.
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken securely by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for applicable purchases and shows any sales tax or VAT at checkout before you pay. Your licence key and download links appear on the page you are sent to straight after paying; that page is also where you come back to for the next year's key. Subscriptions renew each year until you cancel from your Stripe receipt. See the refund policy (14 days from the first payment) and the terms.
How it works
- Pay on Stripe. You are sent straight to a page that shows your licence key and two downloads: the free plugin Local Link Checker and the Pro add-on.
- In WordPress go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Install and activate the free plugin first, then the Pro add-on.
- Open Tools > Link Checker > Pro and paste the key. The key is checked on your site; the add-on makes no network calls to check it.
The free plugin
The free plugin Local Link Checker is coming soon on WordPress.org. Until it is listed there, a copy of it is included with every purchase (on your key-and-download page), because the add-on needs it. It is licensed under GPL v2 or later, as is the Pro add-on.
Requirements
WordPress 6.5 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer (with the standard sodium extension), and the free plugin Local Link Checker.
Licence terms in short
- An annual licence for the number of sites you paid for. The key is not locked to a domain, so please use it only on the number of sites you paid for. Keys cannot be revoked remotely.
- The key works until the end of the period you paid for plus 7 days. After your subscription renews, re-open your key page to get the next year's key. If you cancel, or the licence expires, the add-on stops doing anything and the free plugin carries on.
- The key contains no name or email address. Support is best effort by email; please quote your Stripe receipt, not your full key.
Honest notes
- This add-on was written largely by an AI coding assistant working under the direction of Quietcog, and tested with PHPUnit, WordPress Coding Standards checks, the Plugin Check plugin and end-to-end checks on a local WordPress site. Try it on a staging copy and keep a backup before using any bulk fix, replace, remove or redirect action on a live site.
- There is no automatic update checker yet. If we publish a new version, it will be offered as a new download on your key page.
