What Pro adds
- Bulk redirect rules. Match an old path, a path prefix, a product category or a product, and send it to the shop, a category, a product, a page on your own site, or answer 410 Gone. Add one rule, or paste up to 500 lines at once. Up to 2,000 rules.
- Redirect hit log. See which old addresses are still being requested, how often and where they were sent. It stores the path, reason, target, status and time only: no IP address, user agent or referrer. Retention is 1 to 730 days (default 90), with daily pruning.
- Closest-category redirect. Send a retired product to the deepest category that still has products, walking up the category tree, instead of the shop page.
Everything else stays in the free plugin and keeps working if your Pro licence expires or is removed: the per-product override, the default destination, 301/302 and the remembered addresses of deleted products. Without a valid licence the Pro add-on simply does nothing.
A page that currently exists is never redirected by a rule; rules apply to retired products and plain 404s.
Buy a licence
1 site
AnnualOne annual licence for one WordPress site.
Up to 5 sites
AnnualOne annual licence you may use on up to five WordPress sites that you own or manage.
Prices are in US dollars. Payment is taken securely by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for applicable purchases and shows any sales tax or VAT at checkout before you pay. Your licence key and download links appear on the page you are sent to straight after paying; that page is also where you come back to for the next year's key. Subscriptions renew each year until you cancel from your Stripe receipt. See the refund policy (14 days from the first payment) and the terms.
How it works
- Pay on Stripe. You are sent straight to a page that shows your licence key and two downloads: the free plugin Retired Product Redirects for WooCommerce and the Pro add-on.
- In WordPress go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Install and activate the free plugin first, then the Pro add-on.
- Open WooCommerce > Retired Redirects Pro > License and paste the key. The key is checked on your site; the add-on makes no network calls to check it.
The free plugin
The free plugin Retired Product Redirects for WooCommerce is coming soon on WordPress.org. Until it is listed there, a copy of it is included with every purchase (on your key-and-download page), because the add-on needs it. It is licensed under GPL v2 or later, as is the Pro add-on.
Requirements
WordPress 6.5 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer (with the standard sodium extension), WooCommerce, and the free plugin Retired Product Redirects for WooCommerce.
Licence terms in short
- An annual licence for the number of sites you paid for. The key is not locked to a domain, so please use it only on the number of sites you paid for. Keys cannot be revoked remotely.
- The key works until the end of the period you paid for plus 7 days. After your subscription renews, re-open your key page to get the next year's key. If you cancel, or the licence expires, the add-on stops doing anything and the free plugin carries on.
- The key contains no name or email address. Support is best effort by email; please quote your Stripe receipt, not your full key.
Honest notes
- This add-on was written largely by an AI coding assistant working under the direction of Quietcog, and tested with PHPUnit, WordPress Coding Standards checks, the Plugin Check plugin and end-to-end checks on a local WordPress site. Try it on a staging copy and keep a backup before using any bulk fix, replace, remove or redirect action on a live site.
- There is no automatic update checker yet. If we publish a new version, it will be offered as a new download on your key page.
- Quietcog is not affiliated with or endorsed by Automattic, WooCommerce or WordPress.org. WordPress and WooCommerce are trademarks of their owners.
